The purpose of this study is to estimate of the yield strength and structural behavior of H-shaped beam to concrete-filled RHS column connections with diaphragm subjected to tensile force. In the analysis on the connection with inner diaphragm, yield mechanism in RHS column wall and inner diaphragm is assumed. Yield strength of this connection with inner diaphragm can be estimated by adding the yield strength of RHS column wall to that of inner diaphragm derived from the yield mechanism, As the result of the test, the filled concrete is effective to prevent out-of-plane deformation of the column wall and to resist shear force in the diaphragm.
