Tn.Urbanization has been appeared apparently since the industrial revolution by which the urban function had been converted to production system from consumption system. In Korea, the urban concentration together with high economic increase has been begun rapidly and physical development has been appeared to accept the urban concentration. This quantitative policies could not meet anymore the social demand now because the trend of urban development were converting to the direction of environmental value and quality of life. In this point of view, landscape is considering as one of the most important factors for improve of quality of life in the field of urban development. We need to interpret and analyze an urban landscape for applying to a development process. Unfortunately, there is no objective interpretation method by subjectivity of view for urban landscape. Therefore, this research aimed at the development of a model and an application method for objective interpretation of urban landscape. To apply this model and method, SUWON city was selected as a case study area.
