The empirical study is aimed to investigate if a secretary's individual differences have moderating effects between job stressors and job attitudes. A secretary's individual differences are consisted of the educational level and the length of service as a secretary.
To accomplish this research goal, 150 secretaries were selected and surveyed with questionnaire method. The results of the study are summarized as follows:
First, a secretary's educational level shows moderating effects between job stressors and job attitudes; especially, interpersonal relations and job satisfaction, interpersonal relations and intention to turnover, career development and job satisfaction, career development and organizational commitment, role overload and job satisfaction, role conflict and organizational commitment, role conflict and intention to turnover, and role ambiguity and intention to turnover.
Second, the length of service as a secretary shows moderating effects between job stressors and job attitudes; especially, interpersonal relations and organizational commitment, career development and job satisfaction, career development and organizational committment, role overload and job satisfaction, role overload and organizational committment, role conflict and organizational committment, role ambiguity and job satisfaction, and role ambiguity and organizational committment.
