This paper analyzes the influence of the characteristics of entrepreneur, enterprise and external-environment on the speed and performance of internationalization with the KOSDAQ-listed born global firms. The survey results show that all three factors of entrepreneur, enterprise and external-environment have significant impact on the international speed. However, only the enterprise factor has a meaningful influence on the performance of the internationalization. This paper also documents that the performance of speedy internationalized firms would be higher than their less speedy counterparts.
