With the associated problems of our society becoming elderly brings many problems, which can be addressed by improving leisure activities facilities. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate various plans to improve the senior community center and elderly welfare center in Anseong City. The following are the results;
1. With the limited space and deteriorated state of the senior community centers are gradually becoming more and more uncomfortable to use. These centers need to be repaired and modernized by introducing the internet and computers. Foremost facilities in rural farming and residental areas need to be expanded.
For the efficient operation of these elderly facilities it is vital to gain the support of the local and national authorities to drastically increase their support for the programs and include them in more policy.
2. There needs to be new facilities constructed according to the local people needs and number. The facilities have to be large enough to be able to provide professional and various services. The local government has to consider that for efficient operation of facilities a non commercial corporation or social welfare corporation has to be established.
In conclusion, the elderly need various social welfare services based on their needs that have to be professionally operated and a fee introduced to ensure a high quality.
