In the middle and modern Korean, ‘멎/벚/봋’ are constituted synonyms in current dictionaries. But they are separate words with different meaning in the middle and modern Korean. Nevertheless, incorrect information of botanical and linguistic skills is reflected in the pre. This paper put the purpose for correcting in the present usuage. For this, I tried to reveal the meaning at that time of ‘멎/벚/봋’, was written based on the materials. ‘멎/벚/봋’ are identified that might be mixed on same meaning in the middle and modern Korean. ‘멎/벚/봋’ are divided by each of the items discussed as follows. What ‘柰’ is corresponded to the ‘멎’ is of course, but has been used incorrectly to ‘벚’. ‘柰’ and ‘林檎/?果’ are synonyms on the meaning ‘apple’. This ‘柰’ is usually response to ‘멎’. With the confusion of ‘벚’ and ‘멎’, ‘벚’ is usually response to a ‘山櫻’. ‘山櫻’ is different from the current ‘벚’, nevertheless is dealing with the same target. ‘봋’ is a tree that used the skin, but the similarity based on the form of language was led to this mistaking. 樺 木to ‘봋’ are corresponded broadly. But we should be discussed ‘봋’ with the semantic interpretation of 沙木.
