This study focuses on leadership training in three domains for ministry leaders who serve in multicultural contexts. What preparations are required to work in these multicultural contexts? The writer suggests the importance of leadership training in three domains - cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains. Training for these three domains should be balanced for holistic leadership development. In cognitive domain development, ministry leaders should become equipped with biblical and cultural understanding. The biblical teachings regarding aliens are clear-Christians are to take care of aliens and work with them without discrimination. Leaders also must have a cultural understanding toward different ethnicities and nations, because this knowledge enables them to understand and to work with them effectively. For affective domain development, ministry leaders should develop five hearts-disciplined mind, synthesizing mind, creating mind, ethical mind, and respectful mind. Leaders are to have spirituality training in order to control their heart. Spirituality training can be accomplished when leaders take care of their inner life, renew their personality through meditation on the Word of God, and through theological reflection. Finally, leaders are to train themselves in the behavioral domain for better ministry performance. Various behavioral leadership competences can be acquired through the training process.
