The purpose of the present study was to examine the effect of immersion in exercise, relieving stress, and self-efficacy of elementary school students through Taekwondo training so that the result could provide useful basic data for enhancement of training effect of the Taekwondo trainees and for marketing strategy of Taekwondo gymnasiums. A total of 500 questionnaires were used as the final valid samples. For the survey, the researcher paid personal visits to the Taekwondo gymnasiums to distribute questionnaires, and then asked the trainees to answer the questions on the spot according to the self-administration method and collected completed questionnaires. For statistical data processing, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. The results of survey and analysis are as follows: First, it was found that immersion in exercise has effect on relieving stress. Second, immersion in exercise has effect on self-efficacy. Third, relieving stress has effect on self-efficacy. Particularly, emotion management, health care, and good use of leisure time, which are sub-factors of relieving stress, have positive (+) effects on self-confidence, self-regulation efficacy, and preference for the level of task difficulty, which are sub-factors of self-efficacy. But sociality, which is a sub-factor of relieving stress, has no positive (+) effect on self-confidence, self-regulation efficacy, and preference for the level of task difficulty, which are sub-factors of self-efficacy.
