The purpose of this article is to analyze the ‘Empathy’ aspects and multi-cultural educational meanings of the narrative in “Samgukyusa”.
First, I selected texts that contain the exchanges between people and people, people and animals, and culture and culture.
Second, I attempted to analyze the emotional aspects, found the assimilation of emotions, social actions, and an attempt of dis-identity shown in the texts.
Third, I attempted to examine closely the multi-cultural educational meanings of the narrative of “Samgukyusa”. The narrative of “Samgukyusa” shows us the important aspects of a multi-cultural society and contains the feasibility, social impact, and self-reflection of the empathy. So it can give us important implications on the multi-cultural education.
Forward, Methods of empathy education by utilizing the narrative of “Samgukyusa” must to be discussed. That will be my next work.
