The main purpose of this paper is to reveal the characteristics of literary imagination as sympathy and reflection and the prospects of humanities.
Recently there have been many discussions of sensibility, ethics, healing, sympathy and reflection. All these discussions are in reference to the characteristics of literary imagination. The sympathy and reflection is especially helpful in explaining the rules of the literature which is based on fictional imagination.
In this regard we can also think about the crisis of literature and the crisis of humanities. All discussions on the crisis of humanities and the crisis of literature must become method of resistance in itself. In conclusion, we need to preserve and maintain literary identity with the ability to sympathy and reflection. Essentially the humanities and the literature exist as a process of thought which deal with its crisis.
