The structure system of apartment most widely being spread in Korea is the wall type apartment. Although the wall type apartment secures the high durability, there is a limit in accepting social change, functional change, change of family composition, and resident change, and future house should have long functional lifespan as well as physical lifespan. To activate the long life housing, the plan is needed that reduces the construction cost of long life house into the similar level to the construction cost of existing wall type apartment. In this study, the activation plan of long life house will be looked for through the economic feasibility analysis of already developed LH-type hybrid structure system. The economic feasibility of LH-type hybrid structure system is analyzed through the comparison with existing wall type apartment. The main analysis range is limited to the comparison of direct construction cost and comparison of construction project cost following the schedule improvement. Second, LH-type hybrid structure system and direct construction cost of wall type apartment are compared and analyzed by contraction process. Third, when applying LH-type hybrid structure system to the wall type apartment business district, the schedule improvement effect is analyzed. Fourth, when applying LH-type hybrid structure system, the construction project cost following the schedule improvement is analyzed by Net Present Value. Fifth, when analyzing the construction project cost following the schedule improvement, materials of LH construction are used to know the collected amount and time of selling cost. The deduced result from this study will be used usefully in apprehending the technical development direction of future long life house. Also, it will present the construction cost-reducing direction for competitiveness securing of the long life house.
