The purpose of this study was to identify the coordinate movements to posture stability by investigating joint torques according to different heights(30cm, 45cm, 60cm) during single-leg drop landing. To analyze the coordinate relationship both lower limb and spine seven segments(C7, T3, T6, T9, T12, L3, and S1) a shock absorption and a posture stability were compared with the joint torque from three-dimensional kinematic motion between sagittal plane and coronal plane in 3D space. The tools was Vicon Motion Capture System(MX-T40) using the thirteen infrared cameras (sampling frequency 250Hz) and synchronized with GRF data(1,000Hz). Ten male subjects were recruited as soccer players in Univ. entrants with no history symptoms of injuries. Statistical process was to use SPSS(ver. 30.0), to do Repeated Measurement ANOVA, Correlation Analysis, and Regression Analysis. Results of this study were as following.
First, in at sagittal plane there is a difference of lower limbs(hip joint, p<.001; knee joint, p<.01), spine segment(T6, p<.05) and shows the cross interaction according to a box heights(30cm, 45cm and 60cm), and in coronal plane, a difference of lower limbs(knee joint, p<.01; ankle joint p<01) and spine segments (S1 p<.05; T6 p<.05). Second, as a box height’s increases, there is statistical difference of lower limbs and spine segments(hip joint and T3; knee joint and T12, T6, C7; ankle joint and T6) and shows obvious distinction at p<.01 and p>.05 level. Third, according to a box height’s increases, show a clear coordinated movement of the linear equation(regression analysis) between lower limbs(hip joint, knee joint and ankle joint) and spine segments (T3, T6, et al.) by the each joint segments as a shock absorption and posture stability. The findings from this study have shown that multi-directional spinal motions turn out to play major function as works (+) positive and (-)negative torques as acting the shock absorption and the stability.
