Child development means quantitative and qualitative development through the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development in which there is difference between each individual. Because Child development is affected by the surrounding environment, a suitable environment is necessary. Modern childhood obesity is a terrible condition that WHO point it out as a new infectious disease and it has become a one of the most serious social problems currently. Nevertheless, it lacks a social welfare organizations for Child’ health care based on Child development and behavior characteristics. Since healthy constitution and basic frame of the body are formed in Childhood, performing the basement of healthy habits and making a healthy physical activity are important. Recently, interest in Children’s Wellness Center is rising along with this trend. Wellness is the compound word using Well-being and Fitness which means a healthy and ideal state from physical, cognitive, emotional and social point of view. Children’s Wellness Center is a facility providing systematic and personal services such as Child obesity prevention, Growth and Development assistance, Disease prevention and education based on Child development and behavior characteristics. This thesis has a purpose for providing the suitable environment for the child to have health habits, correct understanding and a healthy physical development through the study on the space configuration of Children’s Wellness Center based on Child development and behavior characteristics.
