With the recent rapid spread of smartphones and smart devices, interest is increasing in the Internet of Things (IoT), whereby all devices are connected on the basis of various types of sensor network technology according to the service environment and type. In particular, a home network system provides intelligent service through the recognition of the situation and interaction between humans and objects, and between objects and objects, through wired or wireless networks with the help of intelligent objects at home. It establishes an interactive network for various smart devices such as electricity, lighting, gas, heating devices, vacuum cleaners, and small home appliances. In this study, life conveniences of a smart home are suggested by designing a home network monitoring system, in which wired and wireless communications are integrated through the ZWave method and 802.11ah of the ZigBee, Bluetooth LE, and Sub-GHz methods, whereby mobility and connectivity are guaranteed with an intelligent residence environment for the limited communication devices and limited network, which are drawbacks of a conventional home network system.
