Abstract The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the perceived social support and organizational commitment. 415 employees from sport service organization completed questionnaires measuring their perception of coworker support, supervisor support, organizational support, affective commitment, and normative commitment. The results indicated that perceived social support had a significant and positive impact on organizational commitment. This evidence provides strong rationale that organizations need to care for their employee’s well-being to foster their commitment level.
