The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of European integration and European cultural identity. This paper will suggest a concept of ‘euro-consciousness' in order to express a newly-built European cultural identity. European Union is trying to integrate Europe as a cultural dynamic Europe with economic and political integration. The official motto of European Union is ‘united in diversity'. For this reason, European Union is trying to encourage cultural exchange. Now diversity becomes a new important identity and culture code for Europe.
