This study investigates the relationship between personality types (extraversion/introversion) and job satisfaction, and identifies the moderating effects of romantic relationship on the relationship between personality types and job satisfaction. A total of 314 data were subjected to factor analysis and regression analysis. Participants were instructed to take an on-line survey from august to october in 2018. This study was analyzed using the SPSS WIN 22.0 program, frequency analysis was used for demographic characteristics, factor analysis and reliability analysis were performed to examine the validity and reliability of the measurement items, and regression analysis was employed to check the variables and moderating effects. The results of this study demonstrated that personality types (extraversion/introversion) affects job satisfaction. Furthermore, the romantic relationship affects the relationship between extraversion and job satisfaction, while romantic relationship has no moderating effect on introversion and job satisfaction. This study may contribute to new data to human resource management.
