The purpose of this study is to explore the goodness-of-fit of the scale of Alexithymia for Taekwondo student athletes by applying the Rasch model. 195 Taekwondo student athletes were selected as subjects for the study. The scale used in the study was the Korean version of the TAS-20, which is composed of a 5-point scale of 23 items with 3 factors. In order to verify the suitability of the scale, the Rasch model was applied, and the unidimensionality assumption of the scale and the suitability of the response categories and items were verified. As a result, first, the 23 questions used in the study were classified into 3 factors because they did not satisfy the one-dimensionality assumption, and each sub-factor satisfies the one-dimensionality assumption. Second, the response category of the scale was found to appropriately discriminate respondents' responses on the 4-point scale compared to the existing 5-point scale. Third, the questionnaire fit was found to be inappropriate in 4 out of 23 questions. Fourth, as a result of comparing the response attribute with the question difficulty, it was found that the question with high difficulty was somewhat insufficient.
