This study aimed at investigating the perception and role of the Korea Taekwondo Association through big data analysis and finding the future role and direction of the Korea Taekwondo Association through this. In order to the purpose of the study, data from were collected last 10years, and text mining and semantic network analysis were conducted to obtain the following results. First, as a result of frequency analysis, it was found in the order of the Korean Taekwondo Association, Taekwondo, chairman, association, and athletes. Second, the keywords with a high TF-IDF were Taekwondo, the chairman, the players, the association, and the host. Third, as a result of the N-gram analysis, the ones most related to the Korea Taekwondo Association were the president, chairman, taekwondo, and the whole country. Fourth, as a result of the semantic network analysis, it was classified into related organizations and tasks, taekwondo games, board of directors, and executives. Based on these research results, the direction of the Korea Taekwondo Association is first, continuous cooperation with Taekwondo-related organizations. Second, it is the lead of a fair Taekwondo game culture, and third, it is continuous support for the field of daily sports. All of these roles should be continued by the Taekwondo Association of Korea, the home country of Taekwondo, with a sense of responsibility to play a leading role in the development of Taekwondo.
