The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the participation motives, participation satisfaction, and psychological well-being of dance sports participants. For this purpose, the participants of dance sports in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungcheong provinces were selected as the subjects of this study. The study data were processed using SPSS 22.0 statistics suite. And, the result of frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, confidence verification, and multiple regression analysis was as follows; First, one of the sub-variables of the participation motives of dance sports participants, that is, the inner motive, turned out to have affected the sub-variables of participation satisfaction, namely psychological satisfaction, physical, social satisfaction, and environmental satisfaction, in a statistically significant manner. The outer motives, also, turned out to have affected psychological, physical, and environmental satisfaction positively, with statistical significance. Second, the inner motives and outer motives of the dance sports participants turned out to affect the sub-variables of psychological well-being, like self-realization, self-efficacy, engagement, hedonic pleasure, positively, with statistical significance. Third, the sub-variables of participation satisfaction of dance sports participants, which were psychological satisfaction, physical satisfaction, and environmental satisfaction, turned out to affect the sub-variables of psychological well-being, which were self-realization, self-efficacy, engagement, and hedonic pleasure, with statistical significance. In the meantime, social satisfaction turned out to affect self-realization and engagement positively in a statistically significant manner.
