The objective of this study is to establish basic data to understand not only the improvement of beauty workers' job performance. For data collection, total 405 questionnaires were collected from male and female beauty workers in Seoul & Gyeonggi region, for frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis and ANOVA, by using SPSS 21.0. The results of this study are like below. First, in regard of demographic factors of the targeted subjects, unmarried female beauty workers in 20s, studying/graduated from fouryear- course college with average 1-2 million won monthly income were the most. Second, regarding goal orientation, four types like learning goal orientation, achievement goal orientation, avoidance goal orientation, and proof goal orientation were drawn while three types of work results were drawn like job satisfaction, job commitment, and job performance. Third, in the results of dividing the goal orientation into groups, it was classified into job-oriented group, learning-oriented group, achievement-oriented group, and avoidanceoriented group. Fourth, in the results of examining the work results in accordance with the type of goal orientation, the job-oriented group showed the highest in the type of jog satisfaction while the avoidance-oriented group showed the lowest. The results above shows that beauticians should achieve performance higher than the level required by salons, which can be also recognized by their boss and colleagues. Thus, the beauty industry is suggested to develop technical training programs and also various character education suitable for the characteristics of groups, to raise beauticians' work result.
