혁신적인 건축 기술인 팽창식 건축의 역사는 1960년대로 거슬러 올라간다. 이 기술은 순수한 선형 건축 스타일의 패턴을 깨고 아름다운 곡선 외관으로 독특한 건축 미학을 선보인다. 수 천 년 동안 전 세계의 문화는 서양이든 동양이든 건물 건축을 안내하기 위해 복잡한 미학적 규칙을 개발해 왔다. 그러나 팽창식건축의 미학에 대한 연구는 비교적 제한적이다. 예술, 심리학 및 생물학의 교차점에 위치한 신경 미학과 진화 미학은 미학 연구를 위한 새로운 시각과 해석적 틀을 제공한다. 따라서 본 연구는 신경 미학과 진화 미학의 이론을 채택하여 시각적 관점에서 인간의 팽창식 건축에 대한 지각과 미적 경험을 탐구한다. 이 연구는 문헌 검토, 실험 및 사례 연구를 결합한 통합적인 방법을 채택하여 팽창식 건축의 미적 인식을 조사한다. 제1장에서는 연구의 의의, 내용 및 방법을 분석한다. 제2장에서는 팽창식 건축의 발전 역사와 현재 연구 상황을 검토한다. 제3장에서는 시각적 지각에서 시작하여 HSF 및 LSF를 분석하여 건축물에서 미세 및 굵은 정보를 추출하는 과정을 이해한다. 신경 미학과 진화 미학의 이론을 활용하여 인간 두뇌가 일반적으로 곡선, 투명성 및 광택을 선호한다는 것을 밝혀낸다. 제4장에서는 제3장의 이론을 시각적 특징에 대한 미적 취향 실험을 통해 검증한다. 실험 결과는 곡선윤곽, 투명도 및 광택과 같은 개별 요소에 대한 긍정적인 미적 취향을 확인뿐만 아니라 이러한 요소의 결합 효과가 개별 요소보다 더 많은 선호를 유도한다는 것을 보여준다. 따라서 팽창식 건축에 대한 사람들의 선호도는 이 세 가지 시각적 특징의 조합과 관련이 있을 것으로 가정된다. 마지막으로 사례 연구에서는 팽창식 건축에 대한 시각적 미적 취향이 곡선 윤곽, 투명도 및 광택의 조합으로 인해 증가한다는 것을 확인했다. 이 연구는 팽창식 건축의 미적 개념에 대한 새로운 시각을 제공하고 팽창식 건축 디자인에 대한 과학적 이론적 기반을 제시한다.

As an innovative building technology, the history of inflatable architecture can be traced back to 1960s. It breaks the pattern of pure linear architectural style and presents unique architectural aesthetic feeling with its beautiful curved appearance. For thousands of years, no matter in the West or in the East, cultures all over the world have developed complex aesthetic rules to guide the construction of buildings, However, research on the aesthetics of inflatable architecture remains relatively limited. Neuroaesthetics and evolutionary aesthetics, which are at the intersection of art, psychology, and biology, provide new perspectives and interpretive frameworks for aesthetic research. Therefore, this study adopts the theories of neuroaesthetics and evolutionary aesthetics to explore human perception and aesthetic experience of inflatable buildings from a visual perspective. The study adopts an integrated approach, combining literature review, experiments and case studies to investigate the aesthetic awareness of inflatable buildings. Chapter 1 analyzes the significance, content and methodology of the study. Chapter 2 reviews the development history of inflatable architecture and the current status of research. Chapter 3 starts with visual perception to understand the process of extracting fine and coarse information in architecture by analyzing high spatial frequency (HSF) and low spatial frequency (LSF). Using the theories of neuroaesthetics and evolutionary aesthetics, it reveals that the human brain generally favors curves, transparency and glossiness. Chapter 4 verifies the theories in Chapter 3 through experiments on aesthetic preferences for visual features. The experiments not only confirmed people’s positive aesthetic preferences for individual factors such as curved contours, transparency and glossiness, but also demonstrated that the combined effect of these factors elicited more preferences than individual factors. Therefore, it is hypothesized that people’s preference for inflatable buildings may be related to the combination of these three visual features. Finally, the case study verified that people’s visual aesthetic preferences for inflatable buildings were attributed to the combination of curved contours, transparency, and glossiness. When these visual features are combined, the aesthetic preference increases. This study aims to provide a new perspective on the aesthetic concept of inflatable buildings and a scientific theoretical basis for future architectural design.
