Electric buses were first introduced in Korea in 2004 and have spread nationwide. The supply of electric buses has increased by 49% compared to the previous year, and it is expected to increase very rapidly in the future. Hydrogen electric buses have also increased by more than 50% compared to the previous year, indicating that the supply of eco-friendly buses is rapidly taking place. The energy efficiency of electric buses is measured by indoor tests that require an chassis dynamometer and the test mode is used to drive 20 km at a constant speed of 72.96 km/h. However, most electric buses distributed in Korea are city buses that driver under 72.96 km/h, which is the speed of the current driving mode to measure energy efficiency, and realization is necessary. Therefore, in this study, energy efficiency was measured by applying various driving modes that CSC(Constant Speed Cycle), K-WHVC, and K-WHVC repeat 2 times in order to analyze the effect of the driving mode on energy efficiency during the chassis dynamometer test of an electric buses. Through this, it is intended to be used as a basic study for developing a more realistic energy efficiency measurement methodology to keep pace with the government's policy support by comparing and analyzing energy efficiency changes according to the driving modes.
