Autonomous driving technology has developed rapidly in recent years, and the development of autonomous vehicles capable of stable driving even in high-speed environments is emerging as an important research topic. However, in high-speed driving situations, recognition accuracy can be significantly reduced due to sensor response delays and complex road structures such as banked roads. This paper proposes an autonomous vehicle recognition algorithm to improve cognitive performance and bank road recognition performance in a high-speed racing environment of over 100 km/h by participating as the Clothid team in the 2024 College Student Autonomous Driving Competition. The proposed algorithm was based on a multi-sensor system using two camera sensors and one LiDAR sensor, and designed a four-step recognition process consisting of 2D and 3D object recognition, clustering, and sensor fusion. In particular, more precise object detection and tracking was implemented by fusing sensor data for accurate recognition in complex road environments such as bank roads. As a result of the performance evaluation, the proposed algorithm satisfied a detection distance of more than 100m front and rear and a response speed of more than 10Hz, and the suitability of the algorithm was proven by conducting a high-speed racing competition.
