Japan is facing environmental problem and resource depletion problem. Therefore, the introduction of the recycling manufacturing system becomes essential. So, the action of firms for environmental problems is evaluated from the corporate social responsibility. In this research, we focus on the closed loop supply chain (CLSC) from the view point of hybrid manufacturing/remanufacturing system. We propose the hybrid manufacturing/remanufacturing model which consists of manufactured new products and remanufactured products including refurbished products. In this case, refurbished products are as good as new. Then we carry out the numerical experiments that assume profit as the objective function. While, we also consider the relationship cannibalization effect and market expansion. As a result, it is clarified that hybrid manufacturing/remanufacturing model that we proposed is able to make more profit.
