Kenji Miyazawa is from Hanamaki of Iwate, Japan. He featured the theme of faith and the farmer life of the Lotus Sutra of the Buddhism in writers of children’s story in poets and did work activity. “Soil God and a Fox” which are a theme of this report have the evaluation called the work which handled the love feelings of the character clearly, and there is the evaluation to be the work which is unique as a children’s story treating love. However, it is difficult to conclude it to be the work which this work features the theme of love simply and made up for.
The conventional precedent study has been studied by the Soil God=country, the confrontational diagram called Fox=city mainly. However, in this report, I approach it across one phase of relation of such both opposition. It is going to thereby consider a change aspect of the occurring inside world by a conversation to come out between soil God and a fox and a birch. This is because the viewpoint of the speaker of the third person is an internal world change aspect of one of Kenji Miyazawa who is an author. The change of the internal world produced by soil God in “Soil God and a Fox” and birch, fox and conversation and that of birch is a change aspect of the inside world of Kenji Miyazawa who is speaker=author in the work.
As for Kenji Miyazawa who was the speaker in the work, the Utopia that oneself was going to pursue through soil God and a fox and the relations with the birch drew acceptance, it through the children’s story called “soil God and a Fox” as limit characteristics of the situation of Era at the time conclusively.
