The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the sports value of middle school students and physical education attitude and continuous sports participation. The subjects of this study were 250 middle school students in Seoul and distributed and collected the questionnaires. Of the collected questionnaires, 228 were used for the actual analysis, except for double - entry and a series of responses. The data were analyzed by frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 statistical program. The following conclusions were obtained. First, the sports values of middle school students partially affect the physical education attitude. In other words, social values and personal values, which are sub - factors of sports value, affect basic attitude, technology, physical attitude, psychological attitude, and social attitude, and physical value influences technology, physical attitude and social attitude. Second, the sports values of middle school students partially affect the continuous sports participation. In other words, social value, which is a sub - factor of sports value, affects behavioral participation, and personal value and entertainment value influence behavioral participation, cognition, and positive participation. Third, the physical education attitude of middle school students partially affects the of the continuous sports participation. In other words, the basic attitude, which is a sub - factor of physical education class attitude, affects behavioral participation and social attitude affects behavioral participation and cognitive participation.
