This thesis is to study the instructional design so that PBL (Problem-Bsed Learning), based on presenting problems and solving them, can be applied to the cosmetic science course, which is a major course in the Department of Beauty. For this study, the PBL class procedure and class plan were referenced based on previous studies that presented examples of PBL classes applied by universities. In addition, after selecting a course suitable for PBL class management as a cosmetic course, we looked at the outline of the cosmetic science class at other universities. First, the educational objectives of the cosmetic science course suitable for PBL were set, and problems to be solved by learners were developed. And after presenting the problem, the PBL process was constructed to plan the learner"s learning process. The developed problem was corrected by experts. Through this research process, the course of applying the PBL class in the cosmetic science class was designed to be operated every 4 weeks. The first verse was designed as a team composition and problem understanding process, the second verse was a data search process, the third verse was designed as a problem-solving process, and the fourth verse was designed as a problem-solving presentation followed by evaluation and reflection. Learners can experience the process of directly encountering problems that may arise in the field and solving them through classes. In addition, by presenting learner-centered teaching methods that can strengthen learners" capabilities through such research, it can be expected to become a reference material that can develop various types of teaching methods.
